From La Morera Beach onwards

In both spirit and fact, Marbella East starts at Río Real, where the town gives way to leafy residential areas that extend on both sides of the coastal road. Inland, they follow the meandering contours of golf courses or stand amid the cover of pine trees on gentle slopes from where the sea and mountain views of the area come into clear view. The most desired location of all – here as elsewhere on the Costa del Sol – is the part that extends towards the sea, with the frontline beach locations in Marbella East being the most sought after.

The apartments for sale at La Morera Playa offer the last opportunity to own a true frontline beach property in Marbella East, enjoying as they do a very private, exclusive and secluded setting far removed from tall structures and high building densities. Instead, these luxurious apartments and penthouses by the sea enjoy total peace and seclusion within 10,000m2 of beautiful gardens. The road that leads to this uniquely privileged gated community culminates in a cul de sac right by the beach.

Beaches that go on forever

From your property at La Morera Playa, you can cross the manicured lawn, pass the large pool deck and step straight onto the coastal pathway and the beach. Look left and right, and you see the sand extending endlessly beyond the gentle curves of the shoreline. These are the stunning sea views you have from your property, only seen from a different perspective—and they beckon exploration.

Head west and you come to some of the finest beaches and sandy dunes in all of the Costa del Sol, crossing a little stream from Playa de los Monteros to Río Real Playa – Los Monteros is the exclusive residential area that La Morera forms part of, the finest address in all of Marbella East. This point at which Marbella East properly begins is one of the prettiest spots in the region, but you will also be rewarded with stunning beach scenery and atmosphere if you head eastwards from La Morera Playa.

This is a peaceful, secluded stretch of shoreline loved by kite-surfers rather than large numbers of beachgoers – until Alicate Playa, where a succession of popular seaside restaurants and beach clubs overlook the Mediterranean. By the time you reach Playa Real de Zaragoza, you will have walked for several kilometres and come to Elviria, an attractive suburb with a good concentration of shops and restaurants at its open-air mall on the north side of the coastal road.

Continue on and the sandy shoreline eventually leads to the charming little marina of Cabopino and a nudist beach that backs on to a protected natural landscape of dunes and coastal umbrella pine.

From Río Real to Cabopino and beyond, the extensive beaches of Marbella East are yours to roam and enjoy if you live in La Morera Playa.
